OLW: Think

Did this layout today for word up #27 at One Little Word. I word was Think and I actually couldn't think of anything to do, so I used 'Do Not Think'. I think way too much. I overthink EVERYTHING and it causes me to get angry and pick fights over stupid stuff, so I'm reminding myself 'do not think'.

This is also for Challenge 15 at ScrapMojo. It was inspired by my new pretty shirt I got at Charlotte Russe for 5 dollars. The shirt has lace just like the tulle(?) I used.

PL #86

Another Pencil Lines sketch already. It's not my favorite layout, but it's okay I guess. I don't really like the background paper but I couldn't find anything else that matched. *shrug*

Pencil Lines Sketch #85

Just finished the Pencil Lines sketch #85. I was just going to use the main photo, but I really don't like doing one picture layouts, so I went with the sketch. I really like how it turned out.

I'm engaged :)

Dustin proposed to me yesterday right beside Glenn Castle while we were at the renaissance fair. The ring is beautiful and I am so incredibly happy.

I finished this layout last night as well with some of the pictures my mom sent me. She refuses to learn how to use the digital camera we left her so is instead using my old film camera. lol. She hates technology. But she gave me those purple thickers for my birthday, as well as two other kinds of thickers. I looove thickers.

Color combo

I made this layout for Color Combo Challenge #72 over at the Color Combo Blog. I probably didn't get the colors right but I like the way it turned out. I had these pictures sitting in a photo album and I've been trying to scrapbook for my nieces and nephews, so I figured this would be a good page to make. I didn't journal though, because I thought the pictures spoke for themselves..they were just enjoying time in the pool.

I'm thinking one day I'm gonna make two albums for my nieces and nephews, one for each set of kids (my two brothers have three kids each). I love the layouts and I want them to have them, but at the same time, I want to keep them, so I think I'm gonna make copies and give them the original pages. Or maybe I'll just scan them all and keep a digital scrapbook or something. I don't know.

Anyway, if I can find more pictures to scrap, I'll probably be posting another page tomorrow. :)

Oh look, another layout

I made this one for a challenge at Creative Therapy. I also used the Pencil Lines sketch #83.

My grandma died in 1996 I think and even though I've made a layout about her and my grandpa, I never made a layout just for her. She was a really good grandma to me and my cousins and I miss her so so much. I never got to say goodbye to her because she got sick from cancer very suddenly and my parents didn't want me to remember her in the hospital with all the tubes and machines. Even though I'm glad I remember her being happy and healthy, I still regret not getting to say goodbye. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

On a happier note, Saturday was mine and Dustin's two year anniversary. We didn't get to do anything because of work, but I made him a card and I told him not to get me anything because we didn't have the money. So he gave me a diamond bracelet that his grandma had passed down to his mother. :) Even though it's awesome, it makes me want to go get him something even though I know I can't afford to.

But I thought I'd post a recent picture of us, just because I don't think I have yet. I accidentally cut off his head, but it was the best one out of like 7 and he was getting tired of posing. lol.

Mother Layout

I made this for The Design Experiment but I just finished it today. I had wanted to type the journaling for this but I can't afford to buy ink right now. I'm not really sure if I like it...I really wish I had something else, like some say it with crystals or something to put in the corner instead of the year she graduated. Oh well. That's life when you're broke.

National Scrapbooking Day

I'm not feeling so hot today, but I got my pictures printed last night and I knew I had to scrap today. I finished four pages, but I was low on white stickers, so one of them isn't completely finished. The title is missing two letters, so I'll post that one when I buy new letters.

I really like the Lil Sis one and I promise the colors look better in person. The Frogs one came out pretty cool. I like using paint..it's fun :)I don't really like the Let It Snow one but I didn't want to leave out any pictures, so I did what I could.
